Important Update: Federal Financial Aid Changes Effective July 1, 2026

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1), signed into law on July 4, 2025, includes several provisions that will affect federal student aid programs beginning July 1, 2026.

Students and families are encouraged to review these upcoming changes and how they may impact financial aid eligibility, borrowing options, and repayment programs.

For additional information, please visit Federal Changes Impacting Financial Aid.

The Financial Aid office at FGC will introduce you to the spectrum of financial resources available to students from scholarships to loans to work-study opportunities and guide you through the processes necessary to access those resources. You’ll find the grants and scholarships available to students and administered by the Financial Aid Office in the Available Financial Aid section. Just remember that accessing any financial aid resource begins with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Receiving financial aid all starts with the FAFSA. The FAFSA is a free form that allows students to apply for federal aid (grants, work-study and loans), and this form is also necessary to access FGC scholarships.
