Fall Commencement Ceremonies will be held on December 10th and 13th at 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm on each day in the Performing Arts Center. . Each of the four ceremonies will include up to 40 graduates. Fall Commencement includes eligible Fall and Summer graduates. Participating graduates will be assigned a ceremony date and time the week of October 25th and communication regarding your assigned ceremony will be sent to your student email account. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time as we try to offer students the full graduation experience, while also adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Deadlines for Fall CommencementSubmit graduation application by October 15th to participate in Fall Commencement. Order cap and gown now through October 18th. You are encouraged to complete the graduation application prior to purchasing your cap and gown to ensure you’re eligible to graduate. See details below on how to meet commencement deadlines.
In order to participate in commencement, you must submit your graduation application by the October 15th deadline and purchase your cap and gown by the October 18th deadline.
Meet with your advisor to ensure your program’s requirements will be met by the end of the term you plan to graduate. You will complete your graduation application at the appointment, have it signed by your advisor, and then submit it to Enrollment Services in Building 15.**Your graduation application must be received in Enrollment Services by the published graduation application deadline found on the Academic Calendar for your name to be included in the printed commencement program.** Schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor before the deadline.

If you order online, there is an option to have your cap and gown shipped to you (Your graduation guest tickets will be included with your regalia). You may borrow a gown from a previous graduate if the graduate participated in commencement in the past 2 years to ensure the correct shade/material of the gown. If you want to participate and are not placing an order with the FGC Bookstore, you must email firstname.lastname@example.org about participating in commencement (include your name, ID number, program of study, and phone number).
