Spring Commencement Ceremony is scheduled to be held on May 6th, but please stay tuned as we schedule multiple ceremonies in order to adhere to health and safety guidelines. Spring Commencement includes eligible Spring and Summer graduates. Participating graduates will be assigned a ceremony date and time and communication regarding your assigned ceremony will be sent to your student email account. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
In order to participate in commencement, you must submit a graduation application and purchase a cap and gown by the established deadlines. The graduation application deadlines are found on the Academic Calendar. Cap and Gowns may be ordered now and the deadline (typically a month prior to commencement) will be shown on this page when determined.
Meet with your advisor to ensure your programs requirements will be met by the end of the term you plan to graduate. You will complete your graduation application at the appointment, have it signed by your advisor, and then submit it to Enrollment Services in Building 15.**Your graduation application must be received in Enrollment Services by the published graduation application deadline found on the Academic Calendar for your name to be included in the printed commencement program.** Schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor before the deadline.
To place your order visit –> https://www.bkstr.com/fgcstore/shop/graduation or stop in to the FGC Bookstore in Building 14. If you order online, there is an option to have your cap and gown shipped to you. For students who choose in store pick up, cap and gown pick up date will be communicated to participating graduates. Contact 754-4320 or email Bookstore.follett@fgc.edu with any questions.
You may borrow a gown from a previous graduate, if the graduate participated in commencement in the past year to ensure the correct shade/material of gown. If you want to participate and are not placing an order with the FGC Bookstore, you must email enroll@fgc.edu about participating in commencement (include your name, ID number, program of study and phone number).
