August 1, 2023 Summer Commencement at Florida Gateway College Share Share this post Twitter Facebook eMail Copy URL Copy LAKE CITY, Fla. – On Thursday, August 3, Florida Gateway College will hold the 2023 Summer Commencement Ceremony for students graduating in Summer 2023. One hundred and ninety-three students will graduate this Summer from FGC programs ranging from occupational certificates to bachelor’s degrees, with 65 participating in the ceremony to be held in the Howard Center. FGC introduced a Summer Graduation Ceremony in 2022 to provide even more opportunity for students and families to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments. Along with the annual Fall ceremony and two ceremonies in the Spring, the Summer Commencement allows the college community to gather and recognize graduates, no matter when they complete their programs of study. The ceremony will feature remarks from FGC President Dr. Lawrence Barrett, FGC Trustees, student speakers, and other members of FGC’s faculty and staff. 2023 Summer Commencement CeremonyThursday, August 3, 20236:30 p.m.FGC Howard Center, Bldg. 10 Each graduate is allotted guest tickets for the ceremony.
