LAKE CITY, Fla. – Florida Gateway College Men’s Basketball has finalized the roster and schedule for the 2023-24 season. The Wolves test their mettle in two pre-season tournaments before heading into a packed schedule of 30 games, including 16 home matchups in FGC’s Howard Center.

FGC will go up against multiple DI teams early in the season as they prepare for a tougher post-season, where they will face district champions out of Alabama in the end-of-year tournament. The new season also sees Florida State College at Jacksonville joining the NJCAA DII Region 8 Conference, bringing the level of competition for the Wolves to new heights.

Nine new recruits will join four returning players as the Timberwolves build on last year’s success. FGC claimed the 2022-23 titles of conference champions, regional champions, district champions, and made their second-straight appearance at the NJCAA DII National Championship Tournament.

FGC’s season officially begins Friday, November 3, when they face Daytona State College at 5 p.m. The Wolves’ home opener will tip off in the Howard Center at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 9 vs. Enterprise State Community College.
