The new Cybersecurity AS program prepares students for careers in the growing and ever-evolving world of information security. Students learn to monitor networks and applications for cyberattacks and intrusions, conduct threat and vulnerability analyses, and coordinate and implement cyber incident responses. Organizations across the country and around the world depend on IT professionals to secure their networks and data from cyberattack. As of 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the job market for information security analysts will grow 35 percent by 2031, adding an estimated 56,500 jobs.
