January 24, 2024 FGC Foundation to Hold “.4ishK Run” Fundraiser Share Share this post Twitter Facebook eMail Copy URL Copy LAKE CITY, Fla. – On Saturday, February 3, the Foundation for Florida Gateway College is inviting the community to grab their sneakers and gather in downtown Lake City to help support FGC students and programs, enjoy some delicious refreshments from local businesses, and maybe even do a little running. “For anyone who always thought about running a 5K to support a charity but would rather walk .4ishK and have cupcakes, coffee, and a delicious beverage, this event is for you,” said Lee Pinchouck, Foundation for FGC Executive Director. “We hope people find some friends, make a team, and join us for some fun to support scholarships and programs at FGC.” The Foundation for FGC .4ishK Run will take participants on a leisurely “race” along Lake Desoto, visiting fueling stations from some of the Foundation’s downtown neighbors and community partners who are joining forces to support FGC students and programs. Runners will enjoy Brittany’s Cupcakes and Xapa Coffee along the way and end the race with a free drink at Halpatter Brewing.
