What is the FGC Student Ambassador Program?

The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Florida Gateway College. Student Ambassadors will have the opportunity to meet and assist prospective FGC students through a variety of on campus activities, frontline enrollment assistance and community events. Student Ambassadors also help in creating and fostering a welcoming, fun and encouraging atmosphere for all campus visitors.

Qualities of Student Ambassadors:

  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills
  • Desire to Grow Academically and Professionally
  • Interest in Learning New Skills
  • Friendly and Positive Attitude

Requirements to Become a Student Ambassador:

  • Be a Current FGC Student
  • Be Able to Commit a Minimum of 10 Hours a Month to the Program for the 2017-2018 Academic Year (Fall 2017 through Summer 2018)
  • Maintain a 2.70 GPA
  • Complete and Return the Student Ambassador Application
  • Provide a Letter of Recommendation (recommendation form attached)
