Scholarships are forms of financial aid that assist students in paying for their education. Scholarships are a necessity for many who desire to pursue higher education.

The Foundation offers a variety of privately funded scholarships to FGC students. Many generous individuals and organizations make these scholarship opportunities possible. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. You can create a named scholarship and/or contribute to a general scholarship or existing fund. There are a variety of options by which donors can establish a scholarship. These include:

Endowed Scholarships (Named scholarships in perpetuity)

Endowed scholarships require a minimum of $25,000 to establish, including any matching funds that may be available. FGC Foundation staff will work with donors to name the scholarship and develop the scholarship criteria. Endowed funds are invested and are reviewed by the Foundation Audit/Finance Board on a recurring basis.

Annual Scholarships

Scholarships funded annually require a minimum contribution of $1000 and can be named in honor or memory of a loved one.

General Scholarships

Donations can be made to the General Scholarship Fund which supports FGC students enrolled in any program.

Your generous contribution makes a difference in the lives of FGC students and our communities. Gifts of any amount may be made to support existing named endowments.

For additional information regarding scholarship donor opportunities, please contact Foundation staff at 386-754-4433.

Your gift is tax-deductible as allowed by law.
