FGC Students, Faculty and Staff, it’s time to show your School Spirit!
February 24, 2024 KICKS OFF FGC’s Spirit Week. A week filled with LOTS of EXCITEMENT from games, events, and much, much more!!
Join us as we kick start the fun by “Tailgating in the Pines” from 10 am to 6 pm, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24th!!!! HOWL YES, IT’S A PARTY!!!! The festivities will begin at 10 am, bring your tents, food, fun, and LET’S have a HOWLIN GOOD TIME!!!! Feel free to cookout, play some games, and get pumped up so we can CHEER on our Men’s Basketball Team as they take on Florida State College at Jacksonville at 2pm for a nail-biting conference game and FGC Basketball Sophomore Day. The event will honor the outstanding contributions of FGC’s sophomore basketball players and cheerleaders.
Dress like your favorite book, movie, or TV character. FGC students have a chance to win a $25 gift card!

The grand finale of Spirit Week will take place on Saturday, March 2, when FGC Women’s Flag Football go head-to-head with the Florida State University Seminoles’ flag football club team at 1 p.m. at the FGC Flag Football Field at the former Lake City Boys Club.
