Free Daily Breakfast for All Summer 2023 Students at FGC

SUMMER REGISTRATION OPEN NOW

LAKE CITY, Fla. – This Summer at Florida Gateway College, students can start the day with free breakfast in the Gateway Grill. Free daily breakfast will begin May 8, the first day of Summer 2023 classes, and will be offered Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Keeping students fueled with free daily breakfast is part of FGC’s focus on wellness of all kinds for Summer 2023. Students have access to the college’s newly renovated fitness center, counseling services through partnerships with BayCare Life Management and BetterMynd Online Therapy, and financial aid and planning resources. Through these programs, FGC is helping students maintain their physical, mental, and financial wellness as they pursue their educational and career goals.

“It’s so important in coping with stress, staying resilient, and being successful in college,” said Kacey Schrader, FGC Dean of Enrollment and Marketing. “From the basics of eating breakfast for energy to the benefits of mental health counseling, we want to promote self-care with our students.”

This Summer, registered students can present their student ID or student ID number in the Grill to redeem their free breakfast each morning and choose from a selection of delicious breakfast options.

Registration for Summer 2023 is open now. Classes begin May 8.
