The Cost of Attendance (COA) is not a bill that you will receive from Florida Gateway College. It is an estimate of what it costs the typical student to attend Florida Gateway College for an academic year. Don’t be alarmed by the price of a college education. Besides calculating obvious costs such as tuition, fees, room and board, you should add estimated costs for books, personal expenses and travel.
The Financial Aid Office reviews the average costs of each of these items every year and, using that figure, establishes a “budget” for students. The budget varies depending upon whether a student is living on campus, off campus, or at home with family. Additionally, Florida Gateway College offers financial aid that can assist in financing your education. Students are not allowed to receive aid that exceeds their cost of attendance.
Florida Gateway College is committed to making it possible for every student to access a high-quality education at a very affordable cost. The cost listed below represent average, estimated, full-time costs for the academic year (fall and spring semesters).
