FGC Bookstore and Financial Aid
Florida Gateway College allows eligible students to use a portion of their anticipated financial aid for textbooks and required course materials at the FGC Bookstore. Book Vouchers are not additional funds offered to students. The amount is based on the financial aid award amount (PELL, Direct Loan, and/or Scholarships) for which the student is eligible. This process allows students to charge books and supplies against their approved financial aid prior to receiving their disbursement.

We do not accept orders over the phone.
However, you may place your order online. Florida Gateway College Bookstore has collaborated with MBS to facilitate the online purchasing of textbooks and study aids through the Study Tactics website. Please visit our Online Bookstore page for further details.
During peak periods, order processing may require up to 24 to 48 business hours.
Once your order is ready, you will receive an email notification if you have selected in-store pickup, indicating that your items are available for pickup.
If you have opted for shipping, you will receive an email containing a tracking number once your items have been packaged and labeled for delivery.
- For both the Fall and Spring terms, books may be returned within the first seven (7) days after classes begin. For Summer terms, books can be returned within the first four (4) days after classes begin. Any books or course materials ordered after the start of classes are subject to a 2-business-day return policy, provided they are unopened and have not been accessed.
- A receipt is required for all refund requests.
- For refunds processed to credit cards, the credit card used for the original purchase must be presented.
- All items classified as “new books” must be returned unmarked, in their original shrink wrap, and must show no signs of use.
- Please note that clearance items, reference books and materials, special orders, and software are not eligible for refunds, except in cases where the item is deemed defective.
- Items returned outside the specified return policy guidelines will not qualify for refunds.

Your account ID is your Student ID number. When using financial aid at checkout, enter
your Student ID where the account ID is requested. If you're unsure of your Student
ID, you can find it on the MyFGC Portal, class schedule, or school-issued ID card.
