The Florida Gateway College Automotive Program was happy to accept the donation of a vehicle from the Lake City-Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.

The 2011 Ford Transit was received through the Foundation for FGC and will provide students with a real-world, hands-on platform to practice complex diagnostic and repair techniques.

“This vehicle will serve as a crucial instructional aid for our students,” said Torben Reichhardt, FGC Assistant Professor of Automotive Technologies. “The partnership between Florida Gateway College and the Lake City-Columbia County Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role as we work to prepare students for promising careers and build the workforce in our community.”

Through generous donations and support from community partners like the Chamber of Commerce, FGC career training programs continue to offer outstanding workforce education and hands-on experience to students.
