The Library Skills Assessment is designed to help you better understand the library’s resources. The online quiz consists of 14 questions covering searching the library catalog and databases and understanding plagiarism. This self-paced activity will take approximately 20-60 minutes to complete depending on your computer and library skills. A score of 10/14 is required to get credit for completing this assignment.
- Click on the link below to begin the Library Skills Assessment. You will need your Wolves email, your Student ID and your Instructor’s name.
- In Part 1, log onto the library website using your Student ID as the Borrower ID and your 8-digit birthdate (in the MMDDYYYY format) as the PIN/Password. If you get an error message when logging in, please contact the library.
- In Parts 2-4, follow the instructions carefully to answer the questions about the Library Catalog, Databases and Avoiding Plagiarism.
- When you are finished, click the SUBMIT button to complete the Library Skills Assessment. We will grade it, make a notation in your library record, and email you and your instructor a confirmation. When you are in the library you may ask for a red sticker for your Student ID. If you prefer to complete this activity manually, we have paper copies of the Library Skills Assessment in the library.
