Florida Law Enforcement Academy Program Scholarship

The Florida Law Enforcement Academy Scholarship Program is created to assist in the recruitment of law enforcement officers within the state by providing financial assistance to eligible trainees who enroll in a commission-approved law enforcement officer basic recruit training program. The scholarship shall be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If awarded the scholarship, the amount shall be up to but not exceeding the costs necessary to complete the basic recruit training program, less any state/federal financial aid received by the trainee.

The program is Monday – Friday, 5:30pm – 10:30pm for Basic LE, and there is a shift friendly option for students wanting to transition from Corrections to Law Enforcement.
