In compliance with the United States Department of Education (USDOE) rules, Florida Gateway College must provide enrolled and prospective students contact information for filing complaints. Please complete the following steps in the order below:

  1. The college is committed to resolving student grievances, complaints and concerns in an expeditious and fair manner. Students are encouraged to utilize the college’s internal complaint process as outlined in the Grievance Policy and Procedure.
  2. As a participating institution in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), and under the provisions of SARA, complaints that arise in regard to allegations of dishonest or fraudulent activity with regard to interstate distance education are investigated by the Florida SARA (FL-SARA) portal entity. Distance Education students from SARA states, who have completed the internal institutional grievance process and the applicable state grievance process, may appeal non‐instructional complaints to the FL‐SARA Postsecondary Reciprocal Distance Education Coordinating (PRDEC) Council pursuant to BOG Regulation 4.001.
