Graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with a B.S in Elementary Education (K-6). Taught inner city youth in South East D.C. for two years as a 3rd/4th grade teacher. Began her master’s degree at The University of South Florida in 2006 and graduated in 2007. Moved to Philadelphia where she taught in West Philadelphia as a Reading Coach and ESE Resource teacher until 2009.
Has been at Florida Gateway College since Fall 2009 and recently worked at Baker County High School from 2010 to 2014 as an Intensive Reading teacher. Current Advisor for the Future Teacher’s Club.
