Paramedic College Credit Certificate (C.C.C.)

The Paramedic Certificate program prepares a student for employment as a paramedic functioning at the advanced prehospital emergency care level. This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs and approved by the State of Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

To prepare Paramedics who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession.

Hours

The paramedic program is shift-based and held during the day on the assigned shift (every 3rd day). There are additional clinical hours that will be required and may include weekends. It is not guaranteed, that the student can attend all clinicals on any given shift.

Program Details

Admission Requirements
  • Traditional HS diploma or GED
  • Completion of a state-approved EMT program
  • The student must have their Florida EMT license before the end of the 1st    semester of paramedic
  • PERT test
  • 18 years of age

  • Pass a physical with no limitations
