FGC Summer Camp Registration

All camps will have drop off/check in from 7:45am – 8:00 and pick up at 1:00pm at the Howard Center, Building 10.  All campers will receive lunch provided by the FGC Gateway Grill and a camp T-shirt.

Fishing Mission 2018 – June 4 – 7th

This exciting and informative camp is designed to wet the lines of campers between the ages of 10-18 and dive head-first into the sport of bass fishing!  This popular camp returns in 2018 with more classes, more instructors, and more time for fishing!  Campers will attend four days of mini-workshops on a wide range of topics to learn about baits, techniques, and fish biology – and then apply what they learned with daily fishing time.  Campers will learn from professional anglers, biologists, and FWC Law Enforcement to learn everything they need to begin or excel at the fast-growing sport of bass fishing.

FGC Soccer Camp – June 11 – 14th

The goal of the FGC Soccer Summer Camp is to share the experience of one of the most important sports in the world.  Kids will have the opportunity to learn, enjoy and play the game while making friends!  We will work on ball skills, touches, control passes and much more.  Welcome!

Public Safety Training Camp – June 18-21st

This four day camp will explore the many exciting jobs within the law enforcement, firefighting, and emergency medical service professions.  Each day will begin at 8:00 am with a fitness workout.  Student will then have 3 hours of fun each day participating in crime scene processing, first responder first aid, defensive tactics, and firefighting hose management.  Campers will learn about the skills necessary for being a public safety professional.  They are encouraged to bring a change of clothes each day, but not required.  Lunch will be provided at 12:00pm and pickup will be at 1:00pm each day.

Health Sciences/STEM/Water Resource Management Camp – June 25 – 28th

The STEM Camp will consist of learning concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  Activities will include a quiz bowl competition, create a composting bin, mathematical principles, learn principles of plant science, the importance of natural resources and ways to help protect the environment, how to effectively use the internet and social media and other engineering topics and principles.

Girl Power Leadership Camp – July 9 – 12th

Girl Power Leadership is open to girls between the ages of 10 – 18. Campers will focus on empowerment and strong leadership skills for women in business. Activities during the camp will allow girls to develop skills in communication, motivation and project management. The participants will also hear from fantastic women in our business community.

FGC Volleyball Camp – July 16 – 19th

FGC Volleyball camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10 – 18.  Campers will be grouped based on age and ability.  The camp will focus on basic individual skill development in passing, attacking, setting, serving, blocking and some team play.  Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes.  If you have kneepads, please bring them with you.  No cut off “muscle shirts”.  And bring your water bottle to stay hydrated!

FGC Basketball Camp – July 23 – 26th

FGC Basketball camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10 – 18.  Campers will experience a fun and friendly atmosphere with coach instruction for skills, drills and competitive games.  Campers will get hands on instruction by coaches/college players.  Please wear athletic clothing and shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!
