You are a transfer student if FGC is not the first college or university you have attended. We’re glad that you have chosen FGC to continue your postsecondary education.

Please follow the steps below as you plan your FGC educational career. Keep in mind that only first two enrollment steps (apply and high school transcript) are required for admission, but some remaining steps can be completed simultaneously to expedite your enrollment. Remember that we are here to help you through this process and your success is important to us.

Apply for Admission – Free!

Apply online at www.fgc.edu – Apply Now. Or complete paper application and submit to Enrollment Services, Bldg. 15. See the Academic Calendar online for admission deadlines.

Acceptance

Receive your letter of acceptance that will include important information like log-in information for MyFGC and student email, as well as steps following admission.

Financial Aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) whether you think you are eligible or not. Many scholarship opportunities at FGC require a completed FAFSA. Check this step off your list as early as possible – may be done prior to admission. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov

FGC school code: 001501. Visit Financial Aid for more information.

Proof of Residency

This requirement allows you to receive in-state tuition rates. You may complete this step when you apply for admission by submitting the residency form and documents. Proving residency reduces your tuition over 70%. For example, a 3 credit class will cost $310 instead of $1175.

Placement Testing (if needed)
