One-Stop Enrollment Day

One-Stop Enrollment Day is offered once every semester (fall, spring and summer). This is a day where new and returning students can drop-in and complete their enrollmnet process in one day at one location. Whether you need to get started or finish your enrollment at FGC, our staff will be available to help you:

  • Apply for admissions
  • Apply for financial aid
  • Complete placement testing
  • Receive academic advising
  • Register for classes
  • Pay your tuition bill or sign up for the payment plan
  • Tour campus
  • Obtain your student ID
  • Learn more about campus services like TRIO and tutoring

Open House

Open House is offered once a year during the fall semester. The event is open to prospective students and their families and friends, as well as community members. Faculty and staff from all areas of campus come together to provide a program that includes the following

  • Presentation on enrollment process
  • Interactive Campus Tour
  • Session on paying for college
  • Academic, enrollment and student services department fair
  • A chance to win one of two $500 tuition giveaways

College Night

FGC hosts this annual event as part of the Florida College Tour, where colleges and universities across the southeast participate. The event is open to everyone and provides the opportunity for individuals to connect with representatives from many different colleges, including FGC’s faculty and staff. College Night typically occurs at the end of August each year.

What: One Stop Enrollment Day at Dixie Center

Where: FGC Dixie County Center

Who: The community

Why:  Prospective students can apply for admission, do placement testing, apply for financial aid, meet with an advisor and register for Spring classes.

 

December 6

What: College and Financial Aid presentations to high school seniors

Where: Union County High School

Who: Union County High School Seniors

Why:  Seniors will learn various information related to FGC, such as program and admissions information.  Students will also learn about financial aid and how to pay for college.

 

December 7

What: Christmas on Main Street

Where: Trenton, FL

Who: The community

Why:  Families will have a chance to enjoy various Christmas activities and will have a chance to visit different business vendors.

 

December 9

What: North Florida Center of Excellence Workshops

Where: Columbia High School

Who: Adults, high school students, middle school students, and elementary school students

Why: Learn about college, mental health awareness, and art and crafts

 

December 14

What: Admissions and Financial Aid Workshop

Where: Baker County High School

Who: Baker County High School Students

Why: Our recruitment and financial aid staff will be at BCHS to provide assistance to students regarding financial aid and admissions into FGC.

 

January 26

What: College and Career Fair

Where: Madison County High School

Who:  Madison County High School Students

Why:  This is a college and career fair for Madison County High School students for them to explore their various college and career options.
