One-Stop Enrollment Day

One-Stop Enrollment Day is offered once every semester (fall, spring and summer). This is a day where new and returning students can drop-in and complete their enrollmnet process in one day at one location. Whether you need to get started or finish your enrollment at FGC, our staff will be available to help you:

  • Apply for admissions
  • Apply for financial aid
  • Complete placement testing
  • Receive academic advising
  • Register for classes
  • Pay your tuition bill or sign up for the payment plan
  • Tour campus
  • Obtain your student ID
  • Learn more about campus services like TRIO and tutoring

Open House

Open House is offered once a year during the fall semester. The event is open to prospective students and their families and friends, as well as community members. Faculty and staff from all areas of campus come together to provide a program that includes the following

  • Presentation on enrollment process
  • Interactive Campus Tour
  • Session on paying for college
  • Academic, enrollment and student services department fair
  • A chance to win one of two $500 tuition giveaways

College Night

FGC hosts this annual event as part of the Florida College Tour, where colleges and universities across the southeast participate. The event is open to everyone and provides the opportunity for individuals to connect with representatives from many different colleges, including FGC’s faculty and staff. College Night typically occurs at the end of August each year.

Who:  Madison County High School Students

When: January 26

Why:  This is a college and career fair for Madison County High School students for them to explore their various college and career options.

What: Health and Safety Fair

Where: Parkview Baptist Church

Who: For the entire community

When: January 27, 2018, from 9am to 12pm

Why: For anyone interested in learning and receiving health and safety tips for themselves, their children, and their families.

What: Olustee Festival Celebration

Where: Downtown Lake City

Who: For the entire community and surrounding areas

When: February 16 and 17 2018, from 9am to 6pm on both days

Why:  Enjoy some food, crafts, entertainment, and activities for families and children

What: Woofstock

Where: Downtown Lake City/ Darby Pavilion

Who:  For the community and anyone who has dogs, especially for those who have Dachshunds.

When: February 24

What: College and Career Fair

Where: Riveroak Technical College

Who: For high school students and their families

When: February 28, 2018, from 8:30am to 1pm.

Why:  This is an opportunity for people to explore their various college and career options.

What: Union County High School Dual Enrollment Meeting

Where: Union County High School library

Who: For Union County High School students and their parents

When: March 19, starting at 6pm

Why: A required meeting for Union County High School students and their parents to attend if they want to start in FGC’s dual enrollment program for the first time.

What: Cross City Air Expo

Where: Cross City Airport in Dixie County

Who: For the entire community and surrounding areas

When: March 24, 2018

Why: A community event where people can enjoy food, crafts, family activities, educational vendors, as well as an airshow.
