The mission of the Institutional Effectiveness department is to improve the effectiveness of the college through strategic planning, research, evaluation, and the use of information/data to guide decisions and actions.
The services provided by IE include strategic planning assistance, program evaluation, and coordination of institutional assessment efforts. The department coordinates the college program review process; and serves as the primary respondent to information requests by the FL Department of Education, agencies of the federal government, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Our last SACSCOC Reaffirmation of Accreditation was in 2010, and our Fifth-Year Interim Report was submitted in August 2015. Click here to view the Fifth-Year Report.
The Department of Institutional Effectiveness is under the supervision of the Vice President of Academic Programs. The department and its activities are directly connected to the Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC) by a common goal of improving the effectiveness of the college as a whole. The IE director serves as the chairperson of the IEC.
Institutional Research is under the supervision of the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Lifelong Learning. The department regularly produces information regarding the college in the annual Fact Book, periodic briefs and studies of current interest, and ad hoc reports upon request. If you would like to request additional data or a specific study, please contact Research or call 386.754.4365.
