The Foundation for Florida Gateway College is a private, not-for-profit organization that exists solely to provide financial support for Florida Gateway College and the students it serves. Funds are raised to provide student scholarships,purchase equipment and teaching resources, and to grant other, much needed support.

The Foundation was founded in 1969 by a committed group of community volunteers who wanted to generate more community support for the College.

Since inception, the Foundation has provided over $14 million to support College students and programs, $10 million in scholarships and $4 million in program support.

Today, we are fortunate that an outstanding group of individuals volunteer to serve on Foundation boards including executive, property, scholarship, finance and audit, planned gifts and Take Stock in Children boards. These volunteers, truly “on board”, give of their personal financial and time resources. We thank them for all they do to benefit deserving students.

Gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

A variety of privately funded scholarships are available and are administered by the Florida Gateway College Office of Financial Aid. For more information, contact  the financial aid office at 754-4282.
