40-Hour Child Care Training

Child Care Facility Rules and Regulations (6 hours) - Cost $16.00 – Monday, January 23 and Tuesday, January 24 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm

Health, Safety, and Nutrition (8 hours) -  Cost $20.00 – Monday, January 30 and Tuesday, January 31 from 5:30 – 9:30 pm

Child Growth and Development (6 hours) – Cost $16.00 – Monday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 7 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm

Behavior, Observation, and Screening (6 hours) – Cost $16.00 – Monday, February 13 and Tuesday February 14 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm

Child Abuse and Neglect (4 hours) – Cost $12.00 – Tuesday, February 21 from 5:30 – 9:30 pm

Understanding Developmental Appropriate Practice (5 hours) – Cost $12.00 – Monday, February 27 and Tuesday, February 28 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm

Appropriate Practices for Preschool (5 hours) – Cost $12.00 – Monday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 7 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm

Developmentally Appropriate Practice for Special Needs (10 hours) - Cost $24.00 – Monday, March 20, Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm 

Appropriate Practices for Infants and Toddlers (5 hours) - Cost $12.00 – Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm

YOU MUST ARRIVE BEFORE CLASS BEGINS. LATE STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND THE CLASS. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR NON-ATTENDANCE.

Seating is limited (25 students is maximum).

Florida Gateway College offers the classes and DCF issues completion certificates. Therefore you must pre-register with both organizations. To register at Florida Gateway College please visit https://www.fgc.edu/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/fgc-workforce-continuing-ed-application-registration.pdf. To register at DCF visit https://training01-dcf.myflorida.com/studentsite/admin/login.jsf.

All fees are paid to FGC and are due at the time of registration or the student will be dropped from the class. NO LATE PAYMENTS will be accepted. Registration and payment must be completed at least 3 business days before the beginning of class.
