The Practical Nursing (PN) program is a 12-month program designed to assist a student with nursing employment in such areas as a hospital, doctor’s office, home health, or long term care facility. The Practical Nursing Certificate program qualifies the student to take the national licensing exam (NCLEX-PN) to become a licensed practical nurse.

NCLEX-PN Pass rates for the last five years are as follows:

2016: 95.24% based on 1st Quarter results
2015: 96.67%
2014: 100%
2013: 89.47%
2012: 94.12%

The application deadline for the Practical Nursing program has been extended to September 15, 2016.
